Healthwatch Havering joins forces with Havering Councillors to review delays in treatment at Queen's Hospital

06/04/2016

Healthwatch Havering and Havering Council's Health Overview & Scrutiny Sub-Committee have joined forces to review substantial delays in treatment that have occurred at Queen's Hospital and King George Hospital. Thousands of patients have had treatment delayed, or been unable to get appointments for consultations. The hospitals are now working urgently to ensure that delays are minimised and treatments delivered but the large back-log means that it will be sometime before the outstanding treatments and appointments have been dealt with.
