All Healthwatch activity is governed by legislation. Healthwatch was set up by the government in the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, as amended by the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

This report gives the results of our survey of GP practices' websites in Havering - November 2020

During October 2020, we surveyed dental practices in Havering, prompted by many reports by residents of difficulty in obtaining dental treatment during the pandemic.

Of the 27 practices that responded, only 4 were accepting new NHS patients...

Our report of a survey of relatives and friends of residents of care homes in Havering, during the pandemic, was prompted by many reports of residents, relatives and friends being distressed by difficulties in maintaining contact in the lockdown.
